Beginning September, 2021, hospitals are supposed to provide transparent pricing for consumers. Many hospitals have complied, but not without a fight. Getting that data in advance of a procedure is critical especially for cash or high deductible plan payers.
(Tip - get the billing codes from your provider first and consider paying cash rather than pulling out your health insurance card. Also be aware that non-profit hospitals may waive a portion or all of your bill depending upon your income and household size. I can help!)
